Among the activities planned by the Paramount Comedy Festival Comedy, Robert McKee and provide a Comedy Writing Seminar in Madrid on 26 and 27 November. The first day will be devoted to identify key gender and manage the basic tools for writing a good comedy script. The second day will deepen a growing subgenre, the stand up comedy or monologue, through the issues addressed in this particular type of comedy, strategies to address them, the possible paths and how to transform all that on stage to show. The Seminar will be held at the Convention Center Mapfre. Author of the famous text
"The script" , benchmark audiovisual professionals and students worldwide, McKee screenwriting teacher is considered by filmmakers like Peter Jackson or John Cleese. Their preferences about the latest audiovisual writing, however, are directed to television, which considers the refuge of the art of XXI century fiction. For views like this and for his stance provocative facing the industry, McKee toured the world sharing tips and insights on the videotape, the novel and writing in general with writers and directors, but also with actors, critics, professors and advanced students.
